We are an unfussy, characterful eatery practically on the sea with wonderful views from our garden over the glorious Thorpeness Meare.
Thorpeness Brasserie offers great food all day long from lingering Suffolk breakfasts, soups, delicacies on toast or salads, fresh cakes for tea and daily specials from locally sourced ingredients for lunch and dinner. We are renowned for our fabulous Sunday lunches.
We serve superb illy coffee, unexpected wines and beers and homemade ice cream.
Everyone is welcome including children and dogs. The brasserie is a warm, spacious and relaxed venue to meet after a walk, read the papers or use our free Internet access. It provides the perfect place to enjoy some of the very best food and snacks on Suffolk's wonderful coast.

The Emporium is a collection of fifiteen dealer and collector stalls offering for sale many collectable items including china, jewellery, watches, furniture, old books, toys and the like.
It is a great place to browse and discover that ideal something. Open from 10am daily, 7 days a week.
Stallholders can trade online whilst selling to the public by using our open access broadband facility, Thorpeness’s only browsing hub.
